Our Team

George Quarrington-Carter
Director
George started his recruitment career straight after leaving school, working for a market-leading healthcare agency, where he progressed from a trainee recruitment consultant to one of their biggest billers. He then moved into recruiting within the freight forwarding and logistics sectors and took to it seamlessly. After an extremely successful few years helping businesses attract some of the best talent in the industry, George was ready for his next challenge and embarked on the road to establishing GRS.
George takes a very personal approach, building strong relationships with both candidates and clients. He is always on hand to help wherever he can, which leads to him getting results time and time again.
When George isn’t in the office, you can be sure he will be outside spending time in nature with his dog, Pablo. George is also Spurs fan, enjoys music, food, and loves the occasional trip to Ibiza.

Jack Ruby
Director
Jack started his professional career in real estate where he had great success, quickly working his way up to Manager of a local branch. In 2016, Jack moved into recruitment within Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain & Logistics and hasn’t looked back since. Having had two successful stints with companies based in the UK and the Middle East, GRS was the next natural step in his career.
Jack is someone who takes huge pride in his work and puts the needs of his clients and candidates before anything else. He is able to build relationships that stand the test of time and has been involved in some incredible work over the last few years, especially supporting growing businesses that are adding new branches within the UK.
On a personal note, Jack is a husband and father to his newborn son, so you can imagine where his spare time is spent! Away from this, Jack is a huge Spurs fan, season ticket holder, and a keen golfer.

Sheldon Skeggs
Director
Sheldon’s career started off in telesales, which then naturally led to him venturing into recruitment. After his focus was on real estate for several years, he made the transition into recruiting for the Freight and Logistics industries.
During the last 7 years, Sheldon has impressed constantly with his ability to source suitable candidates, quickly, and efficiently. Making him one of the most proficient recruiters this industry has to offer. With his general business acumen and competency for all things numerical, Sheldon played a pivotal part in the development of GRS.
Outside of work, Sheldon splits his time between family and football. A devoted husband and father to his two daughters, the only thing that can steer him away from family time is his love for Spurs. A lifelong fan and season ticket holder, you can often find him singing from the terraces both home and away!
